Bronzino: Pots & Planters - Classic & Brilliant

My Urban garden deco guide is a long standing fan of Bronzino designs.
Their pots and planters are found at many ultra chic hotels and venues.
The brand is specialised in hand-crafted solid copper and zinc containers for both outside and inside.

They are at The Landscape Show in London :

AK 47 new planters

Known for their fabulous firepits and wood strorers, the Italian brand AK47 also has a fresh new range of metal planters.

Love the simplicity of all their designs! basic5[1].jpg

As the PR release states :  The themes they deal with are too often similar, and research and innovation are frequently neglected. AK 47 designs shun the obvious, venturing into areas that are still unexplored. Our aim is to qualify simple objects, to enhance them, and characterize them with boldness. The choice of firewood holders, our first theme in the project, was not made at random. We wished to extend our range as much as possible, offering an infinite series of possibilities. We propose a to amaze with unexpected details, green design, and fabulous style"

AK 47 designs offer multiple functional storage applications. The units are perfect for anyone who living in urban environment and who have limited space to store firewood, or other bulky objects. The products are also modular: their packaging has been designed to optimize space during storage and transport.

The functional sculpture

Why settle for functionality? ... seems to say Italian brand 21ST LIVINGART via its collection of light/planters.

Why not ensure pots and lights become stunning sculptures for your modern outdoor space? If you're looking for a way to add space and really bring an artistic edge to your garden or patio, this is the ideal way to do so. Pots can be incredible works of sculpture, and of course, when teamed with the right plants they can look even better.

So the next time you're gazing around and wondering how you can make your garden look as appealing as the idea of Free Online Bingo, no deposit, think about using pots and lights. With the right lights and the right shapes, the shadows and creative shape of your garden can really flourish.

The brand was at Maison et Objet and it drew my attention because the booth was buzzing with admirative visitors discovering this new kid on the block.

Practicality : Designers get real

In the 90 's and early naughties, glam outdoor pots were brought to the market and wowed us all.

Now the decade opens with a new trend.Slowly but surely, designers' attention has shifted to practical issues that people have with planters: portability and lack of space. Here is one design by www.Flora-online.de.Coasters allow you to move them around and easily bring them indoors.

Clever.

Divide and Grow

Following up on dividers A lovely alternative is to go for a divider that doubles up as a planter. This year Viteo brought the Gardenwall to the market and created quite a buzz. Designed by Gordon Tait, the stackable units can contain a selection of plants in a variety of colors or work just as a simple green wall gardenwall[1].jpg
