A bit of Parisian history saved by a Prince... for you
For over 80 years each and every Parisian or tourist lounging in the Luxembourg, the Tuileries or Palais Royal gardens has enjoyed this chair .
Considered too heavy and expensive to restore, they were replaced by copies.
Fortunately, a couple of hundred of the original chairs and loungers have been saved from destruction by The Prince Jardinier.
He has restored them and added a copper plate to ensure their provenance is established. Far heavier than the copies now available, they also have a wooden armrest that makes a difference both design wise and comfort wise.
Available in the original green ( pale) as well as dark green, chrome, vibrant yellow and red.
