Modoluce festive outdoor light furniture

Great find by TRENDIR

Quote: Modoluce's fun, illuminated furniture is once seen, never forgotten! The illuminated furniture range creates an extraordinary effect grouped together in sets of light up tables, light up stools, and other accessories - whether inside, or out on the patio. The Atollo collection, designed by Paolo Grasselli, consists of generous, low stools and tables. You can choose from the Atollo Outdoor round stools ideal for parties, or the Atollo Panca semi-circular benches for intimate groupings. Atollo Happyhour is a high table which features a hole in the middle, which can be filled with ice to keep your drinks chilled. Atollo Vertical is an upright 'O' that functions as sculptural lighting to complement the illuminated range! The Campanone Outdoor collection is also designed by Paolo Grasselli, and offers a 'pouf' shape that is used both as tables and stools. Modoluce outdoor furniture is a groovy decor solution to both lighting and seating.

Stay cool by the pool with this LED Poolside Furniture from Florastyle.

Swimming Cool

One thing is certain: if having a pool is about boosting your chic creds, building a traditional pool is now off limits!

For a while 'natural pools' looked very 'weedy' and wild so they were not much of an attractive option to many.

But as demand grows sleek designs are showing how flexible the option is.

I received an update by a very clear category leader - I felt like sharing it:

'gartenART Natural Swimming Pools are the leading company in the design and construction of natural swimming pools and swimming ponds in the UK, having built around 40 natural pools since 2004. They also offer an international design and consultancy service.

A natural swimming pool/natural swimming pond is specifically designed so you can swim in pure, clear water with no chemicals.  Its design can range from formal to entirely natural, and it is all at once a practical swimming facility, a beautiful landscape feature, and a wildlife sanctuary.

Natural swimming pools have the advantages of conventional swimming pools, but also look beautiful and respect the environment, offering a fresh and vivid display of nature in your own garden. They are the next step in man-made swimming facilities, combining design, an understanding of how ecological systems work, and the very latest in bio-technology to produce one of the most innovative and complete garden features available..

Flower power meets solar power at design spotter

Romantic find by fellow blog: Designspotter.com:

' a variety of flowers of different sizes & types of illumination, which come alive only at night: Giant Lotus Flowers, intermittently opening & closing, changing colors at a subtle pace; while delicate tulips, illuminated by one color of varying intensities; and masses of gently glowing dewdrop flowers create an poetic ambience of tranquility, sensual beauty & pure serenity. They are made from metal mesh, laser-cut panels and glass spheres, utilizing LEDs & driven entirely by solar energy
