We can be innocent criminals: the lies around exotic woods
I saw yesterday a program by the extra ordinary Yann Arthus Bertrand ,the renowned and internationally recognised French photographer. His new venture is now not just to show the beauty of the world but to help save it. Yesterday's show was about trees.
Via a hidden camera test in Cameroun, he highlighted the fact that even wood certified to be eco could be bad in reality: corrupt officials get paid to give the certificates. He thinks up to 50 + percent of all certified wood is not really what it should be.
Hmmm....
