Outdoor lounger with massage function

I am less than in love with the look of this but admit the idea is cool:  Domus Ventures's lounger features a built-in upper body massager inspired by shiatsu-massage and has a remote control. Outdoor relaxation massage chair

Terracotta garden pots go contemporary - Thank you Italian Terrace-UK

Terracotta garden pots tall- oversized planters 2If you read this blog often you will realize that in my coverage of what the market has to offer in terms of modern / design garden and outdoor  pots and planters I almost never showcase  terracotta planters - 'too nostalgic' for my taste.

However I found these made by the Italian Terrace and find them a lovely modern variation retaining the unique feeling of earthiness one enjoys in terracotta garden pots. Machine made ones are simply atrociously bland so if it is to be terracotta, then hand made/ traditional is a must.

Outdoor earth oven : be on trend with just clay and water ... no cash

Today yet another summit  to save the planet is opening in Poznan so my post had to be a green post.

Yesterday I was reading the European commission's booklet about greening  your home. And it struck me that greening your outdoors never features in these types of reviews. Yet with pools, lighting, furniture, and kitchens surely we would welcome guidance?

In lieu of that missing advice, one thing is for certain using no manufactured products is surely as green as it gets! With that in mind I wanted to introduce the mud oven: seen on The Treehugger:

DSC012801[1] Here's a way to have pizzas and loaves baked in your backyard. You can build your own mud oven — they are surprisingly easy to make. The main ingredients are sand, clay and water. Here are some
instructions
for constructing the mud oven seen above. See these step-by-step photos: Part 2. Here are some tips on make your oven more efficient
