I received a mail from orange 22 and I thought you should know about this cool design and great charity supporting initiative and - as if that was not enough ....If you love the table you can try the online competition and win one....: do visit the site to play and know the full story.
The designer was asked 'What was your inspiration? and the answer was....:
The concept is my expression of the beauty of life. I chose a delicate and elegant branch with dew dropping off of it to represent earth, water and life.'
Chilly times in all sorts of ways ! If you want a great outdoor blanket: Missoni Home is a great cheerful source!

Extremis, a belgian brand specialised in outdoor designs, is on a mission. Its motto is to only design whatever promotes togetherness.
Their Qrater firepit/campfire/broche/grill was thought off in that spirit
'Bringing people together, allowing them talk, play, enjoy nature, even if it is a cold night. The rest is up to your inspiration: shall we sing a song, tell a story or have some food? '
Even edgy fashionistas style bible Wallpaper warns us that yes farm type activities are the next hip thing. The trick is that we will have to show an ability to jump on the band wagon in style. Designers are already developing products to introduce the new adepts to farmyard skills!
Omlet ( www.omlet.co.uk) who have developed the designer version of the hen hut have taken the idea a step further by offering branded boxes :
You get the eggs to bring instead of wine when invited and the box proves you did not just hop over to Tesco. Very new chic!
For an Eglu all you need is a tiny space. They provide hens and accessories. And in case you wonder : hens are not noisy and you don't need a cockerel as hens create eggs without them ( but those eggs don't produce chicks ) .
Lighting fascinates me. I am delighted to see designs that allow us to 'lightscape' differently.A great option is furniture that comes alight with various color LED' s such as this design by Jonathan Stockton.
His collection includes high back bench ( very a la mode!) sofas and armchairs ...all come in various sizes.
He is noted for the excellent craftsmanship and the eco quality of his wood .. That probably why his work features in some high end Chelsea gardens!
The Danish design house have a variety of 'real life' outdoor products, all really easy to use if the weather gets suitable!
They say about themselves : 'The idea behind all products we can best describe as “pure design and pure functionâ€. Why not make every new product beautiful and still keep the function?'
This table BBQ comes in various sizes and colourswhite, green, orange (though you can get it in black) . A perfect fall product!
An obvious hot trend is to save energy to save the planet or to save money... So why not do it in style and with a bit of humor?
Give up the tumble dryer in favor of Saguaro for a cactus shaped creation by Belgian brand Das Ding is a lovely option.
They are rising stars in the market with a constant flow of great news and awards :
their “FrouFrou†won prestigious IF Award, they were nominated for the Designpreis 2009 by the Federal Republic of Germany, nominated for the Henry van de Velde Labels for “Young Talentâ€, officialy launched of 2 new “Chubby†models by Dark Interieur 08, officially launched “Ribbon†at Maison et Objet, Paris, officialy launched “Hole in One†by Sywawa...
