Some is a Belgian brand I am more and more fond of. I found their Beach Buddy that I have rebranded Garden buddy for us all.
I am in London and the first moments of sunshine are coming out at long last.
This seems great to pop in and out so it stays dry between those glorious moments!
Dedon is a German brand that is consistently proving a creative edge and flair. I do not know about you, but I certainly have soft spot for their new Phoenix range...

PHOENIX is the holistic design of seating furniture. In this collection, issues of ergonomics and functionality have
the same significance as the aesthetic requirements and demands of fashion.
This makes the dynamic lines of curved contours and surfaces an essential element of the collection’s formal ex-
pression, combining outstanding performance and perfect suitability for everyday use. Functional, organic, ergonomic, and aesthetically satisfying – the PHOENIX collection merges these complementary demands, which nonetheless appear to be in contrast to one another, into a powerful design. The striking interplay of sublime arched curves and retracted expanded surfaces reveals an experience of vital ity and strength.
The fine herringbone mesh pattern is integrated in the powerful lines of dynamically shaped seats which anatomically envelop the body. The mutual tension between person and design makes PHOENIX an active- dynamic sitting experience.

BornRich site : The T grill...by Grandhall
From Bornrich: With summer around, the party season is here and that means more time will be spent outdoors by the pool, in your backyard. So, GrandHall introduces their new vertical T-Grill that flaunts sleek lines and juicy specs. The T-Grill features Crossray technology which cooks faster and results in less smoke and virtually no flare-ups by using left and right infrared ceramic burners. The grill features two ceramic infrared burners into the 234 square inches of cooking space. The T-Grill will sell for a price of approx. $1,000.'
I am very happy because a journalist interviewed me and has really caught the idea of my site....
What to consider when you design your outdoors:
In the recent past, she’s noticed a rise in what is called urban escapism. New concepts are appearing in a variety of forms.
“You can get so much more out of [the city] by making your outdoor space a source of additional experiences—not just an extension of your home. People should ask themselves not how to match the outdoor design to the inside, but how it can enrich their life,” says Robert.

I posted a few weeks back on a tipi ( or tepee) for adults by Gandia Blasco . Now I have found one for the family via DWR , Design within reach. It is not exactly cheap -circa 2000 USD, but , hey! what a feeling!
The very talented brothers, Erwan and Ronan Bourellec, will be presenting this new Papyrus in or outdoor chair in Milan this spring... a design for Kartell. I am quite taken by the simplicity of it :

I am posting this for those who would like a change to their outdoor kitchen set up /traditional barbecue, who love roasts and partying with an exotic touch.
la Caja China is a Miami invention based on a chinese idea. How to cook a succulent cripsy juicy pig or other roasts ! It was seen on The trend Hunter blog so it comes with creds.
There is a top section but the magic is inside: a roasting box that allows speedy cooking keeping the juice yet getting the outside crispiness. Best is to watch the video!!! It is in itself a vacation.
