Green walls set to become a winning private home feature

Image071 Green walls were made famous in the late 90's by the high profile places they started appearing in (celebrity restaurants in Paris and iconic museums ...).
It is an easy bet to imagine that the global warming issue will accelerate the adoption of this very Eco-friendly solution.
The good news is that  more and more firms are offering solutions that make it a very valid option for private homes.

The wall is a great regulator of temperature within the home ( diminishing reliance on air conditioning in summer and heating in winter). The list of benefits from an Eco perspective is too long to detail so I can only encourage you to browse Amazon for books such as ....

the one here.I 'll keep you posted but it is a good read by  Nigel Dunnett, Noel Kingsbury to get started.

I would love to know more information on Vertical Gardens.
I have designed and built some of my own custom vertical gardens, primarily on greenroof gardens. Its still new to NYC and is truly a market that needs to be introduced to more people.
Is there anymore information in regards to how the vertical gardens provide Air Purifying & Cleansing? Most of the research I have performed seems to be predominantly on the aesthetics of vertical Gardens. While they are very "cool", people need to understand the health benefits of these gardens as well!
Help much appreciated!
