Emery is one of those secretly famous brands. I get visits about them from all over the world. This is due to the truly exquisite designs they offer for wallpapers,tiles, clothes,tableware, rugs and other deco items.
Emery has a few paints suitable for outdoors... just to discover them it is worth visiting the whole site www.emeryetcie.com .
Green walls were made famous in the late 90's by the high profile places they started appearing in (celebrity restaurants in Paris and iconic museums ...).
It is an easy bet to imagine that the global warming issue will accelerate the adoption of this very Eco-friendly solution.
The good news is that more and more firms are offering solutions that make it a very valid option for private homes.
The wall is a great regulator of temperature within the home ( diminishing reliance on air conditioning in summer and heating in winter). The list of benefits from an Eco perspective is too long to detail so I can only encourage you to browse Amazon for books such as ....

I had already come across some of Arne Quinze 's designs. Today I discovered the range of the brand's talent via the Pan Dan blog which showcases Arne's Mutagenesis designs from the Milan show.
If you feel like some less off the wall designs, the brand has a collection of very 'cubic' colorful stools, sofas etc...More here
I am not sure whether I should put this post in the furniture chic section or in the design one!
I must explain why: I am in Paris for a couple of days and passed by the ultra chic Kettal Hugonet boutique near the Champs Elysees.
They were presenting this Maia collection as if it was inside a flat/apartment ..and it was chic issime !

This is news i-pod addicts who love fresh air will love.
To be in the i-pod minimalistic style, all I will say is link here !
Even if the in/out deco divide is said to have disappeared over the past few years, some conventional no-no's still seem to be holding out. Using black for outdoor furniture is one of them.
Coro proves with this versatile set that that is a real shame!
