Outdoor furniture loses its stigma with Frederic Gaunet
Despite the massive change the category is under going, I have to say most outdoor pieces would look out of place indoors - despite industry claims that the in/out divide has evaporated.However, I think Gaunet is helping make that claim true.
After having worked as a designer for some of the most amazing brands ( Dior, Guerlain, Jean Paul Gaultier, Issey Miyake, Yves Saint Laurent, Lauder and Clarins) Frederic Gaunet's attention turned to industrial design.
He was behind a very successful modernization of the Tolix chair. Now, he is bringing truly fresh edgy designs to the outdoor market.
